Animation/Short Video Trailer

This is an example of how one might promote his or her book/app through a video trailer.  I've created this video as a promotional trailer for my app, Recover(Me) Project.  It can also be imagined as a multimedia book, since it includes images, poems, and music.  I use these three perspectives to explore the concept of recovery, and I argue that recovery has multiple interpretations.  It is a back-and-forth process.  It is a subjective experience-- for me, this is what recovery looks like, reads like, and sounds like.

According to their website, Comixology, which is now owned by Amazon, is home to the “largest selection of digital comics anywhere,” with over 75,000 comics on offer for users worldwide. Comixology features traditional comic books, graphic novels, and manga from over 75 different publishers, including both major, easily recognized brands like Marvel and DC and new independent brands that have yet to carve out a name in the industry.

Using Character Styles in Adobe InDesign

Character styles allow you to create templates for certain word styling - italic, different font, colors, spacing, the whole works.

 

What They’re Good For

Character styles are useful for individual words or phrases with unique styling. Paragraph styles will probably make up the bulk of your piece, but character styles are helpful for titles, headers, foreign words, etc.
