I think I've decided to make a form for a babysitting application. Babysitting is something that I've done since I could have a job, and when I have my own kids, I think it would be a good idea to have a useful application for potential babysitters that provides relevant information about the person who's going to be watching my kids when I'm away. If I didn't make a babysitting application, I would make a form for babysitters that's sort of like a fill in the blank for what to do or what to cook when you've run out of ideas while babysitting. There have been plenty of days where I was having an off day and I just couldn't think of anything to do with the kids or it was raining and they had already watched too much TV.

This is a very effective way to find a proper babysitter. You can also add an attachment link to your form (if you decide to use google forms) that allows them to put their certification along with the answers- that way you know it's legitimate since they would be sending their documents straight from the source as oppose to a print out copy.

I think this is a good idea. I have had babysitting jobs in the past, and I have never really considered it a job to list on a resume...but it definately takes skill and hard work. A form is useful because it helps underage kids learn to list their qualifications--like they will need to further down the road (i.e. other job applications, resumes, college forms...) This will be helpful for the parents as well.

This is a great idea, especially since a lot of college students don't have time for full time jobs during the day. Babysitting is so important, not only regarding the safety of the kids' you're supervising, but for their entertainment as well. I think this will be great for educating potential and current babysitters on how they can enhance their experience with their children.
