I wasn't really sure what what going on when the video started, but by the end I saw that the Microsoft Employees were almost making fun of themselves and how their company overloads their products with information. There is certainly a huge difference in the way Apple and Microsoft market their products and the accuracy of this video is actually quite surprising. Apple has always taken the visual approach and kept everything super simple. Microsoft tends to include more specs and details and often adds too many details.

Daniel and I have completed our draft for our technical case study titled "Modern Day Robin Hood Creates Software to Fight Parking Tickets". We feel like we are pretty close to our final draft, but we would love any feedback we could get to improve on our technical case study. Thanks.

OLD: After releasing the software DoNotPay in August of 2015, Browder has made many advances in his software. He has created a messaging bot that actively answers the questions of users wanting to fight parking tickets. The bot first asks questions and gathers details about a user’s scenario, then it can form documents and even send appeals.

Learning about the Paramedic Method allowed me to revise many sentences in my documentation project as well as my resume project. When I read about the Paramedic Method and then read through my drafts, I realized a lot of the sentences didn't match up well with this method. When I used this method to edit sentences, they often became more clear and less wordy. I often find myself using too many words in my sentences when it is better to be straight forward and use more action verbs. This method will certainly help me in my writing in the future.

1. There are many reasons why authors and content creators should protect their intellectual property. Creativity is a crucial part of society. It is important to work together and collaborate with others for the advancement of society, but living in a world where everyone was free to copy the work of others would never work. Authors, artists, and really most Americans work hard at some point in life to create documents, books, music, inventions, websites, movies, photography, and much more original content.

Documentation Research

To begin my research on adobe illustrator, I started with adobe's website itself. I skimmed around and found many videos and tutorials on the many things you can do with illustrator including logos, sketches, typography, icons, complex illustrations, and much more. Since I am focusing on how a logo can build the brand of a company, I will discuss a few of the features I learned when creating a logo. A few of the main components of a logo include shapes, text, and color. There are a lot of tools that can be use to create and edit the shapes that make up a logo.
