Work Experience
1. My first job was a hostessing job at a restaurant called The Wineshop and Rivergate in Charlotte, NC. Devin Allen was the general manager who hired me, and for most of my time there Jon Sheesly was the FOH manager who I answered to directly. I was hired in May 2011 and kept the position until January 2013 when I became a server. I organized and planned reservations/ parties, greeted customers, communicated between managers on duty and servers and developed team work skills by assisting servers and managers whenever possible.

Rhetorical Components and Resume Letters

When starting a piece of writing, it is imperative that the writer assesses the context, the text, the reader, and the writer. First the context should be analyzed, which will help the writer determine the layout of the writing. A certain style of writing depends heavily on why it is being written. When writing a resume, the style of writing would typically be more professional and formal. Context encompasses the situations of both the reader and the writer as well as the historical circumstances and previous texts.
