Revising for Context

By on

The draft has the right kinds of information because it is nothing too intense, but it contains skills that are important to learning Photoshop. However, I overran the amount of pages I was aiming for.

I think that I provide good information because I provide screenshots of my own work in my project as examples.

I need to revise it a bit to give more explanation of why someone would use these processes and put some more emotion into it since it seems solely instructional right now.

❏ Does the draft have the right amount and kinds of information,
considering your readers’ experience and knowledge?

Yes, since I'm catering to readers who may not have a lot of experience with the adobe suite, I was sure to be detailed.

❏ Does the draft reveal that you know what you are talking about? Will
readers trust you and believe your information is accurate? (These are
questions about ethos; see page 11.)

I feel as though the draft has the right kind of information, with the assumption that my readers are college aged students with access to social media networks such as instagram, facebook, etc. The information is very clear and communicates my knowledge of the topic well. Readers may feel interested or excited to try out these new techniques on their on facebook or instagram pages.

1) I think that my draft has the right kinds of information. Acrobat isn't a terribly complicated program, so I feel like most of any problems would be unfamiliarity with the program. I think I showed a lot of pictures and spent a lot of time trying to show where everything was located.

2) All of my instructions come along with pictures documenting the process. I feel like this gives me credibility that I know what I am talking about.

Considering the target audience for my documentation project I have included appropriate content for the viewers. The information that is talked about in my documentation project only needs the viewer to have basic computer skills to smoothly operate the steps. I found that it would be helpful for me to add more visuals to the draft which I will be including on the final.
