Reading Response 5

I think that my documentation project speaks to my intended audience. I tried to be specific while giving step by step directions so that there would not be any confusion. Hopefully, this is the case, and I plan on edited sections when I get feedback on them. I think that business cards are important tools because they share your contact information with the person receiving the card. Therefore, it is important that someone designs their business cards in an effective manner. I hope that the readers trust that the information I provided is accurate.

After reviewing my documentation draft about Adobe Acrobat, the following checklist has helped me to revise the context. It is my assumption that the reader of An Introductory Guide to Acrobat DC would have some sort of background using computers. Given this assumption, the reader should be able to follow my instructions with their previous experiences. The draft shows that I know what I am talking about because the steps are straightforward and their purpose is evident.

1. Audience
I assume that my audience knows very basic word processor functions, such as opening and saving documents. With this in mind, I feel that I described the processes with adequate detail. The draft does show that I know what I am talking about. The readers will trust me based on the screenshots I have put in the project that complement the written instructions. I don't think that readers will have many emotions about learning Adobe software other than frustration due to not understanding the software, which can be overcome because my project is strait forward.
