Learning To Love the Code: HTML As a Tool in the Writing Classroom | Margaret Batschelet

More on Cascading Style Sheets

Along with comprehensive HTML guides such as Musiano and Kennedy, there are several books devoted entirely to Cascading Style Sheets. Håkon Lie and Bert Bos, the original World Wide Web Consortium developers of CSS, are the authors of Cascading Style Sheets: Designing for the Web (Boston: Addison-Wesley, 1999). Eric Meyer is the author of both Cascading Style Sheets: The Definitive Guide (Sebastopol, CA: O'Reilly & Associates, 2000) and (for those more experienced with HTML) Eric Meyer on CSS: Mastering the Language of Web Design (Indianapolis: New Riders, 2002). Owen Briggs, et al. also cover basic style sheet information. There are a wide variety of online sources for CSS information, including Jeffrey Zeldman's "Simplified Guide to CSS," CNET's "Get Started with Cascading Style Sheets," and a World Wide Web Consortium tutorial on CSS by Dave Raggett. Finally, Website Tips has a list of helpful links to sources of information and tutorials on CSS.
