Team Paper Wheel: Log 2

By on

Our team was unable to interview our client (editors at Cengage Learning) over the past two weeks because of the 4C's Conference and Spring Break. But we made it happen today! For about 40 minutes we held a conference call with Ms. Kate Derrick and Ms. Leslie Taggart from Cengage. Each member of our team was present as we used the "speaker" setting on my phone to discuss issues surrounding the design and development of the paper wheel.

--Two out of the three interviews have been completed. Meredith McCarroll was unavailable this past week and as such the interview with her did not take place, and we may need to swap out the writing fellows graphic for something else if we cannot get that interview (unless we decide to run with information taken strictly from the studio's website).

-- For the funded project graphic the information is to be made using information from their website. With pictures coming as time progresses from Katie Mawyer.

While meeting today, we first created a list of possible interview questions for our client(s). The paper wheel will provide MLA citation rules, but it's important that we first know the specific audience of the product. This will help inform us about which citation rules to include on the wheel. We will also ask the client(s) about the preferred dimensions of the paper wheel and, specifically, what type of materials to use. A couple team members began to look for tutorials online about how to make the paper wheel.
